Strikingly situated along the north shores of Canandaigua Lake, Young Lion Brewing Company has taken the New York craft brewing scene by storm with its bold look and exciting flavors. Authentically woman-owned and managed, Young Lion joins just 2% of its fellow breweries, according to the Brewers Association (BA).
One of New York State’s larger microbreweries, Young Lion, can produce as much as 11,000 barrels annually, placing it in the top 10% of over 8,000 microbreweries across the country (BA). Since it opened its doors in 2017, Young Lion has grown exponentially, now distributing at over 1,000 locations across Western New York, including major retailers such as TOPS, Wegmans, and Costco.
“We are so proud of how we have grown in only five years,” co-owner and CEO Jennifer Newman says. As a 20-year business analyst and having co-founded three successful start-ups, Newman’s business savvy partnered with co-owner Alicia Wolk’s expertise in hospitality and branding have formed an industry powerhouse.
Now featuring a second-story event space, Young Lion offers guests an even more commanding lake view. Seating 180 people, the event space comes complete with a balcony deck and plenty of room to dance. OKTOBERFEST
Young Lion’s Oktoberfest is a traditional German Fest beer adhering to German Purity Laws. Its notes of chocolate and caramel come from its malt base of German Pilsner, Vienna, Caramunich, and chocolate wheat. To round out this beer, Hersbrucker, and Tettanger hops are added to create a moderate bitterness and herbal character. PROST ABV 6.3% IBU 24 SRM 17
HEY EY EY EY HELLES
A crisp Lager. German Pilsner, Carapils, and Mandarina Bavaria hops round out this lager. Please enjoy the crisp finish of this session-able lager as you break tables, cover yourself in condiments, and circle the wagons. ABV 5% IBU 17 SRM 3.2
CRANBERRY BERLINER
This “sour” is inspired by the Berliner Wiesse, a wheat beer popularized in Berlin. We are simply calling ours a Berliner because we forgo the wheat in favor of rye which adds a little spice to this beer. We add cherries, cranberries, and mulling spices to round out this beer. This beer is best paired with crisp cool nights and a warm fire. ABV 5.6% IBU 15 SRM 7
HARVEST THE HAZE
This updated Hazy New England Style IPA pairs well with crisp cool nights. We brewed this beer with copious amounts of oat malt and flaked oats for a silky, soft mouthfeel. We then double dry hopped it with two of our favorite southern hemisphere hops, Nelson Sauvin and Waimea. The resulting beer is loaded with white grape and citrus notes with a super soft finish. SRM 3 • IBU 15 • ABV 7%

• Young Lion Brewers Festival – October 1st This unique festival invites guests to come in, grab a glass from multiple local breweries, and mingle. The brewers will be also be enjoying the festival, and and guests are encouraged to talk with them about their beers. Open from noon-8pm, this festival is free and open to the public.
